Carter Hoffman College mascots are very sought after by collectors. Rare pieces go for several hundred dollars each. These figurines can be easily identified as each has the "Carter Hoffman Original" stamp on the bottom of it's feet. With mascots, the figurines originally also had a white label on the opposite foot that said the name of the college. Many of those labels no longer remain but those that do are very helpful in identifying many of the small, obscure colleges that are part of this set.
Some of these figurines are Anri creations, but they closely resemble the CH's -without the foot stamp of course. The CH's are generally a little higher quality of craftsmanship/finish.
Carter Hoffman made animal and people figurines other than sports mascots, however those are not nearly as collectible. They also produced bottle stoppers which were usually the heads of a mascot glued to a cork. (see the flyer pictures below)
These could be ordered from Carter Hoffman in several different sizes. Most are 4-5 inches tall, however there are 8-10 inch versions which very infrequently appear.
I've run across a few high school mascots but have chosen not to try and track those, nor the bottle stoppers.
